Ambassador FRANCISCO MARIANO MANUEL FERNÁNDEZ AMUNÁTEGUI was born on 21st April, 1945 in Santiago, Chile. He joined the Chilean Foreign Ministry in 1967 as a law student. In 1971 he was sent to the Embassy in Bonn. During the military dictatorship in Chile he lived in exile in Germany from 1974 to 1982. Later, he was Ambassador to the EU, to Italy, Spain, the UK and the US. From 2009 to 2010 he was the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Chile.

Ambassador JACQUES YVON NDOLOU, born on 3rd May 1944, completed a military science training at the Frunse Academy in Moscow.
